Service Description

Our 10 Day Hybrid Board and Train is an immersive training program designed for owners who want professional help jump starting obedience, improving behavior, and creating reliable real world manners, while still learning how to maintain those results at home. This is more than a traditional board and train. It is a hybrid model that combines intensive hands on training with owner coaching to help create lasting success. Over the course of ten structured training days, your dog works with me in a real home environment, not a kennel setting, where we focus on building engagement, impulse control, confidence, and practical everyday skills through positive reinforcement based methods. Training is customized to your dog’s age, temperament, and goals. Skills commonly covered may include focus and engagement, sit, down, stay, place, recall, loose leash walking, leash pressure, leave it, drop it, polite greetings, door manners, jumping, barking, puppy nipping, impulse control, and customized behavior work. For dogs needing more than foundation skills, we can also address problem behaviors and work through behavior modification goals as appropriate. What makes this program unique is the hybrid component. Included in the program are three private in home follow up sessions designed to transfer everything your dog has learned back into your everyday environment. This is where we bridge the gap between training and real life. During these sessions, we work on handling, timing, reinforcement, troubleshooting, and applying the training to your home, neighborhood walks, guests, and daily routines. This transfer process is often where long term success is built. Think of it as both training for your dog and coaching for you. I do the heavy lifting upfront by putting in structured repetitions and foundation work, then help you learn how to maintain and build on those results. This program also includes daily progress updates and videos while your dog is in training, so you can stay connected to the process and watch your dog’s progress unfold. This program is ideal for puppies needing a strong foundation, adolescent dogs needing manners and impulse control, or owners who want support working through unwanted behaviors while accelerating progress through immersive training. The goal is not just obedience, but clearer communication, better decision making, and a dog who can successfully navigate life with you at home and in the real world.
