Client Agreement for Board & Train Program

Program Overview:

Thank you for choosing Costner Canine Training and Lake Wylie Pet Resort for your dog’s Board & Train experience! This program includes five nights of boarding at Lake Wylie, pet resort, where your dog will receive comprehensive training from our qualified trainer, focusing on specific skills and behaviors tailored to meet your dogs individual needs.

Service Description

1. Schedule:

   -Boarding Duration: 5 consecutive days. Training sessions and times will vary each day but consist of laying out the fundamentals needed for each dog to reach a mastery level of skills.

   -Training location: Lake Wylie Pet Resort

   -In-home sessions: three sessions, staggered at one week intervals after the daycare program

2. Training Focus

   -Training will cover the fundamentals as outlined in your selected package, including but not limited to basic obedience commands, socialization skills, and behavioral modification.

3. Trainer Availability:

   -Our certified trainer will be present at the daycare facility throughout the day to work directly with your dog. The in-home sessions will be conducted at a mutually agreed time.

4. Additionally, the trainer will bring the dog off campus to work on household manners and loose leash walking. The trainer will not be liable for any damage or injury that may occur during these off campus sessions

Liability Waiver:

By signing this agreement, you acknowledge and agreed to the following:

You understand that during training sessions, your dog may be in the presence of other dogs. The trainer shall not be held liable for any damage or injuries that may occur to the client’s dog or any dogs involved in the training sessions. The client agrees to assume full responsibility for any medical expenses or costs incurred due to injury sustained by their dog or any other dog during this program. Costner canine training is not responsible for the actions of dogs Outside the training context.

Purpose of Service:

The main objective of the boarding train program is to provide an immersive training experience that helps your dog learn, essential skills and behaviors. The client understands that specific training outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Pricing:

The cost for the five night boarding train program will be provided upon inquiry and may vary based on the specific training package selected.

Terms and Conditions:

Owner responsibility:

The client understands and agrees that it is crucial to reinforce training efforts both before, and after the scheduled sessions. The trainer provides a structured environment, but the effectiveness of training depends on the owners, ongoing involvement and commitment.

No Guarantees:

Costner Canine training cannot guarantee specific outcomes. The owner assumes full responsibility for their dogs behavior during and after the training sessions.

Termination of Training:

Clients withdraw their dog from training at any time however, once training has commenced, all fees are not refundable.

Medical Treatment Authorization:

The owner authorizes emergency medical care for their dog, if necessary. If a veterinarian is unavailable, the trainer may seek treatment from any licensed veterinarian of their choosing. The client agrees to reimburse the trainer for all related charges within 15 days. The owner also assumes full financial responsibility for any damage caused by their dog.

Liability Release:

The owner acknowledges that they have read and understood this agreement and wave all liability claims against Costner canine training for any injury or damage. Their pet occurred during or after the training.

Aggressive Behavior Disclaimer:

The owner understands that training outcomes cannot be guaranteed, especially regarding aggressive behavior. The decision to enroll in training is made at the owners discretion, and they accept full responsibility for any damage caused by their pets during or after the program.

Miscellaneous:

The owner is responsible for obtaining the necessary equipment recommended by the trainer, unless otherwise stated in the event of legal council being required, the prevailing party agrees to cover all expenses. This agreement represents the full understanding between the parties and may only be modified in writing by both parties.

Addendum A:

I, as a legal owner of the pets, state that the information provided here is true to the best of my knowledge. I understand that this information may be utilized during the training program.
